Beth Stevenson – Counselor
Beth is a member of the First Evangelical Congregational Church in Palmyra, PA. As a pre-licensed professional with a specialization in marriage therapy, she focuses on counseling with family in mind. Beth is passionate about seeing people freed from the symptoms of anxiety/depression, has a heart for pastors and their families, and loves a good cup of gourmet coffee.
Currently employed by River of Hope Counseling Practice, she is a member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists and the American Association of Christian Counselors. In addition, she is a facilitator of the Prepare/Enrich Premarital and Marital Curriculum, is certified in Level 1 Gottman Marriage Therapy and Core Communications, and has received additional training in sexuality and gender issues.
Beth holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Millersville University and a Master of Arts degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Evangelical Seminary. A classically-trained soprano, she often has the honor of guest-speaking for women’s groups, ministry leaders, and various church groups.
She and her husband Gene have three young children and reside in Palmyra, PA.
